Children always come out to see the mission team. They like to get their picture taken.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
God made Cuba and the United States neighbors.
You really have to experience Cuba to understand the explosive growth of Christianity there.
Living in Faith has been blessed to participate in, and hasten, that growth as God has expanded our ministry in Cuba.
You can have some unique experiences. Here, the mission team takes a ride in a 1940 Ford.
Would you like to be there when someone is given, or be the one to give, the gift of better vision?
Would you like to be there when the children take their first drink of clean water?
You can be there. You can participate. You can go on a Living in Faith Mission Trip.
Living in Faith has been sponsoring mission trips to Cuba for almost a decade.
The Cuba ministry is where Living in Faith started, as an inspiration from God while Russ Montgomery was in Havana for the first time in 1996.
Living in Faith is fully licensed by the United States Government to conduct mission trips to Cuba.
The second Living in Faith Mission House is currently under construction.
Our mission houses provide a base of operations where Christians fulfill Jesus' call to 'love thy neighbor'.
Living in Faith regularly visits dozens of churches and mission locations throughout Cuba,
building relationships with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
Mark 12:33 "To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
Giving an eye exam.
Using an auto-refractor helps us see more patients and gives us precise information for the eyeglass prescription.
Haiti . . . a land in need
Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need (Psalm 142:6)
Our ministry in Haiti has an emphasis on our Vision for Christ project.
Living in Faith has been able to assist thousands of Haitians with the gift of better vision.
It is such a wonder for people who have never been able to see clearly to now be able to see God's creation or read the word of God.
Test results show contamination at many water sources.
The accommodations at our ministry base (Double Harvest) are comfortable western-style accommodations.
Yet our mission work is right outside the door.
It is hard to imagine a country more in need.
It is the perfect place to show compassion and provide some of the basic human needs which they so desperately require.
It is the perfect place to demonstrate what it means to be a Christian.
It is the perfect place to bring more Christians into God's Kingdom.
Galatians 5:13 "You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love."
